Contract Type: 15 Month Apprenticeship
Salary: £9,776 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The ACC Liverpool Group, manages Liverpool’s world class campus ACC Liverpool, home to the Convention Centre, Exhibition Centre and the M&S Bank Arena, as well as ticketing agency Ticket Quarter. Playing a leading role in shining a spotlight on Liverpool, we have successfully staged a wide array of national and international events, from shows and conventions, business gatherings to showcase exhibitions, developing our offer over the last decade to that of a world class provider of venue and event services.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to begin an entry level and varied role within a Conference Sales Team with a primary focus to provide a high level of service to the department. To assist the team in helping to develop and manage projects and workloads.  To fully participate in all training provided, to make a significant contribution to the ACC Liverpool Group.

Day to day responsibilities will include gaining a good understanding of The ACC Liverpool Group and contribute to the success of the team in meeting The ACC Liverpool Group’s aims and objectives.

To attend college as necessary to complete all required tests and coursework to complete qualification as well as undertaking study hours outside of work to meet requirements of your apprenticeship and course.

To attend regular departmental meetings in order to keep updated with the latest requirements of your team and to undertake administrative tasks, such as photocopying, processing mail, maintaining filing systems, archives and resource libraries and updating information.

Answering incoming calls and reviewing the “sales in-box”, taking messages and following through where required while demonstrating these skills and processes as the training period progresses by working independently or with a team, to undertake tasks as instructed and increasing overall contribution to the department.

To participate in all aspects of training and development as directed and to use all relevant learning opportunities to improve personal skills to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery.

To contribute to the success of our One Team culture to deliver our aims and objectives, maintaining a flexible and positive attitude while adhering to The ACC Liverpool Group’s Health and Safety policies and procedures and to observe a duty of care to all visitors, staff and contractors to ACC Liverpool.
