The ACC Liverpool Group operates the city's waterfront event campus – the interconnected M&S Bank Arena, ACC Liverpool and Exhibition Centre Liverpool - as well as ticketing agency Ticket Quarter and the Pullman Liverpool Hotel. 

Playing a leading role in shining a spotlight on Liverpool, we have successfully staged a wide array of national and international events, developing our offer to that of a world-class provider of venue and event services. In 2023, we are continuing to host many amazing and varied events, including the Eurovision Song Contest.

We are looking for a HR Manager to join our team at an exciting time in our journey. Having recently selected a new provider for fully integrated HR and Payroll software, the successful candidate will be managing the team through a challenging yet rewarding period of transitioning our people processes onto a new HR system, transforming how we operate and dramatically improving how we do things across the Company.

Reporting directly to the lead for HR, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in successfully managing the day to day operational HR function, ideally across all areas of HR including payroll, benefits, employee relations, employment law, recruitment and onboarding, training, organisational change, restructures, performance management, employee experience and culture change initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation of the full employment cycle responsible for the design and improvement of all our transactional people process and people analytics. You will also help support delivery of our ambitious people objectives. You will ideally have experience of setting, managing and embedding SLA’s and operating to a shared service model. You will be experienced in quickly building relationships across the business, upskilling management capability through effective people processes and crucially managing a busy function with close business partnering. The successful candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of UK employment law and will be able to confidently advise our senior management team.

The successful candidate will possess a solutions focused, positive, and pragmatic approach that supports our people to deliver their best. You will already have experience in helping organisations work through transformational change and in considering how the People Function can continually evolve, become more efficient and add value.
