Salary: £27,611 - £30,679per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

 

The ACC Liverpool Group operates the city's waterfront event campus – the interconnected M&S Bank Arena, ACC Liverpool and Exhibition Centre Liverpool - as well as ticketing agency Ticket Quarter and the Pullman Liverpool Hotel.  Playing a leading role in shining a spotlight on Liverpool, we have successfully staged a wide array of national and international events, from shows and conventions, business gatherings to showcase exhibitions, developing our offer over the last decade to that of a world-class provider of venue and event services.

 

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Production Manager to join our expanding Production Team,

The role will be to work on smaller events across all sectors within the venue and provide assistance to other Production Managers on larger events.  Key responsibilities will be liaising with clients to provide technical services as required for their events and maximising opportunities for our production team in the process.

In addition, this role will provide support to the production department in the form of creating department rota’s and other key processes as required.

The ideal candidate will have a technical background with key skills in Sound, AV, Lighting or Rigging, and will have some production management experience from a variety of different styles and sizes of events. Knowledge of industry related health and safety regulations, and the ability to assess and produce risk assessments are essential for this role, and as such a qualification such as ’IOSH – Managing Safely’ would be considered particularly desirable.

The ability to multi-task, being self-motivated as well as the ability to work as part of a team and independently are essential for success in this role.  The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent customer service and first-class communication skills.
