The Outdoor Trade Show
29 Jun - 1 Jul 2021
About The Show
Established in 2006, The Outdoor Trade Show (OTS) is the UK’s only national show for the outdoor industry and offers retail buyers an annual exclusive opportunity to view products from a variety of leading brands all under the one roof. OTS brings together the entire outdoor trade at a time when suppliers are launching new collections and accepting orders for the following season. It’s ultimately a cost effective and time effective way for buyers to source and make comparisons before placing forward orders - a much more convenient alternative to taking time out from a business to visit individual brand showrooms. Over 100 exhibitors will display thousands of products for a variety of outdoor sports and those two or three days spent at the show will definitely save a retailer both time and money in the long run.
Who Should Visit?
Retail visitors will always make up the core of those who attend the show, however we are also keen to encourage trade visitors from across other sectors that are either directly or in-directly linked to the outdoors through products and services they use or provide. With a mix of different brands and product ranges, OTS will interest retailers and buyers who specialise in outdoor sports, leisure and adventure travel products. OTS offers retailers from the independents and the multiples the chance to see hundreds of products for outdoor sports and recreation including climbing and mountaineering, camping and expedition equipment, running, bushcraft, fishing, adventure travel, cycling, swimming and a host of other activities. There is nowhere else in the UK where buyers can see so many brands and products at the same time in and in one place.
There are also endless networking opportunities at the show as exhibitors usually have a variety of contacts on the stand, from sales and marketing to senior personnel and visitors are encouraged to make advance appointments to secure time with the desired brands. Some exhibitors will offer discounts on orders placed at the show, so for buyers, it’s worth doing some research beforehand to find out what’s on offer and plan an itinerary to maximise the opportunity. The show enables everyone involved in the outdoor industry to see new ranges and the latest product innovations, network and foster new relationships with potential new customers in a relaxed and informal environment.
Who Should Exhibit?
If your business specialises in the manufacturing, distribution or supply of apparel, footwear or outdoor equipment for the outdoor sports, leisure and adventure travel markets then attendance at OTS is a must. Details of how to exhibit are available here.
* Please note, this event is open to members of the outdoor trade only.*
