The Curve Fashion Festival
25 September 2021
The Curve Fashion Festival
The Curve Fashion Festival is the UK’s largest plus size fashion event – celebrating size 14 and up – and it’s going to be even bigger next time. Coming to Exhibition Centre Liverpool on Saturday 25th September 2021.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Will 2021 be your first time at The Curve Fashion Festival? If so, you’re in for a real treat – a day like nothing you have experienced before. The Curve Fashion Festival is the UK’s most popular event in the plus size calendar and, once you’ve seen what’s involved, you’ll know exactly why.
Long gone have the days when high street brands could ignore their plus size customers. The Curve Fashion Festival is an unmissable opportunity for brands to show that they not only have clothing for size 14 and up, but they have an abundance of fashionable, well-fitting outfits for those curvy consumers – and that they want to shout about it too.
The day includes the chance to:
- Shop the latest collections from major brands and up-and-coming independents
- Watch exclusive fashion shows and catwalks
- Listen to industry talks about people’s experiences and the state of plus size fashion
- Get involved in meet and greets with some of the most popular plus size personalities
Every autumn since 2015, our festival has created an inclusive space for all corners of the UK plus size community to get together and really just have a good time. It’s the reason why so many people return year after year to be a part of the fun.
The Curve Fashion Festival has continued to grow every year since our first event back in 2015. At the 2019 festival, we managed to attract over 3,000 attendees, with people travelling from as far as the United States and South Africa to be a part of the action. We can’t wait to see you there too.
The Curve Fashion Festival is the UK’s biggest annual gathering in plus size fashion, so we pride ourselves on being able to attract all the brands you both love – and ones you’re no doubt going to love – year after year.
Among the many that have exhibited in the Fashion Hall and on the catwalk, you may have seen some of the following in previous years: Marks & Spencer, Simply Be, River Island, eBay, Matalan, New Look, boohoo, Very, Debenhams, PrettyLittleThing, Missguided, Nasty Gal, In the Style, Curvissa, Yours Clothing, Shein, Lindex, Quiz, Elomi, Navabi and Miss Pap.
It’s an opportunity to actually see how some of the online-only brands’ clothes fit, and to see how expansive some of the high street brands’ plus size lines actually are. You’re given the chance to shop on the day, or just to get a little inspiration for the next time you update your wardrobe. Many Fashion Hall exhibitors even offer promotions and exclusives that only attendees can take advantage of.
In 2021, expect more of your high street and online-exclusive favourites showcasing the best of their plus size and curve collections yet again. Check our socials to see all of the announcements first.
We wouldn’t be the biggest and most talked-about plus size event if it wasn’t for the famous faces that have turned up over the years. Since our first event in Manchester, we have been able to attract well-known plus size personalities from the UK, US and all over to join us in our annual celebrations of all things curve.
The list is massive, but here’s a little sample of our past speakers, special guest attendees and people you may have had a selfie with in past years: Tess Holliday, Gemma Collins, Charlotte Crosby, Hayley Hasselhoff, Felicity Hayward, Grace Victory, Nicolette Mason, Amber Rose Gill, Eddie Hall, Olivia Campbell, Megan Jayne Crabbe, Callie Thorpe, Holly Hagan, Bishamber Das, among other major TV and online personalities.
Look out for updates on our social channels about who will appear at our 2021 festival. As you can see, we’ve got very big expectations to deliver on.
As well as the Fashion Hall and Market Hall – places to grab items for your next outfit – we also have a big beauty presence at the festival too. 2021 will see the return of our Beauty Hub, a space to grab a few essentials and pamper yourself.
The Body Shop, Doll Beauty and Fake Bake have all featured at the festival before. Back in 2018, Alexandra Cane from Love Island even hosted her own masterclass for boohoo. This time around we will once again have the Beauty Hub as a dedicated space for brands to showcase the best of their beauty must-haves, and give you the chance to pick up a few pieces alongside all of your fashion picks.
