SunnyCon Anime Expo

The U.K’s largest anime expo comes to Exhibition Centre Liverpool this summer!

Organised by an award-winning crew of anime enthusiasts, SunnyCon Anime Expo brings a huge geek extravaganza to the city on the 10 & 11 August. The event welcomes all ages and promises to be a fun weekend packed with things to see and do:

Including David Matranga who is best known for his roles in the hit series My Hero Academia where he is the half hot half cold hero Shoto Todoroki and Attack on Titan where he plays Bertholdt Hoover.

And voice actress and singer Stephanie Young with her best-known roles as Nico Robin in One Piece, Arachne in Soul Eater, Towa in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Clare in Claymore and Olivier Armstrong in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood!

Sunnycon Anime Expo has 3 cosplay competitions over the weekend which are; Masters, Rising Star and Non-Competitive divisions. Masters is the big contest with a huge pot prize of £2,000 for cosplayers who place 1st-3rd. Rising Stars is a less intensive competition with only one prize for 1st place. For the Non-Competitive tournament any casual cosplay can enter.

With hundreds of tables jam packed with official merchandise you can't miss the trader area at SunnyCon Anime Expo. All SunnyCon Anime Expo traders are screened before booking for the event to ensure all traders are helping the industry.

Over the event Beanie Gaming will be running a variety of card game tournaments and free play including Magic, YuGiOh, Pokemon, Cardfight, Weiß Schwarz and Dragonball Super Card Game. Further details to be announced soon…
