The wrestling world will descend on Exhibition Centre Liverpool on the 27 & 28 April for an amazing celebration of old school wrestling and the legends that graced the squared circle for the last few decades.

For The Love of Wrestling is featuring the biggest stars from WWE/WWF, WCW, ECW, TNA, NWA and Impact where you can meet legends such as Mark Calaway, Chris Jericho, Bret Hart and Ric Flair. 

Not only do you get to meet these wrestling colossuses, the event will also include an interactive range of life size props and set builds plus an exhibition of wrestling merchandise and belts. This will include:

  • ‘Prime Time’ Wrestling Studio
  • Brutus Beefcake’s ‘Barber Shop’
  • Europes Home of Wrestling Belts

  • Old School Wrestling’s ‘Noisy Dungeon’ Collection


Shop till you are tombstoned in the carefully selected merchandise zone, with a varied selection of traders to meet your souvenir and memorabilia needs. There will also be prized cosplay competitions with live wrestling taking centre stage on the Saturday night from 6pm to 9pm.

Mark William Calaway better known by his ring name ‘The Undertake’r, is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE as a free agent. He is regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers in history. He will be appearing at For The Love of Wrestling on Saturday & Sunday.


Christopher Keith Irvine, better known by his ring name Chris Jericho, is an American-born Canadian professional wrestler, musician, author and actor who is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). In professional wrestling, Jericho is best known for appearances in WWE between 1999 and 2018. Chris Jericho will be appearing on Saturday only.


Bret Sergeant Hart is a Canadian-American retired professional wrestler, writer and actor. Hart is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. Bret Hart will be appearing at For The Love of Wrestling on both days.


Richard Morgan Fliehr better known as Ric Flair is an American professional wrestling manager and retired professional wrestler signed to WWE under its Legends program. Since the mid-1970s, he has used the moniker "The Nature Boy". Ric Flair will be appearing at For The Love of Wrestling on both days


Ted DiBiase is a legend in the sport of professional wrestling. He is arguably the greatest heel ever to grace the sport with his greed and snobbish attitude towards lower class people. Ted DiBiase will be appearing at For The Love of Wrestling on both days.


Robert Booker Tio Huffman better known by his ring name Booker T, he is an American professional wrestling promoter, colour commentator, and professional wrestler, signed with WWE.  Booker T will be appearing at For The Love of Wrestling on both days.


Amy Dumas, better known as Lita, is an American professional wrestler, and singer most recently signed with WWE as an analyst. She performed as a wrestler with WWE from 2000 to 2006, and has since made part-time appearances with the company. Lita will be appearing at For The Love of Wrestling on both days.


James Edward Duggan Jr is an American professional wrestler better known by his ring name “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and is currently signed to WWE on a Legends contract. Hacksaw Jim Duggan will be appearing at For The Love of Wrestling on both days.

From the south...

Virgin Trains operates hourly, direct services from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street (with a journey time of just over two hours). Other long-distance rail services also operate into Liverpool Lime Street station.

Exhibition Centre Liverpool is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride. You can also transfer at Lime Street onto the underground Wirral Line trains to James Street station (10 minute walk) or catch the CityLink Route C4 (7am – 8pm) directly to the venue. If travelling from outside Merseyside, you can catch an underground train to James Street station from Lime Street station, inclusive of the cost of your ticket.

Flying into Liverpool John Lennon Airport...

A taxi from the airport to the city centre will take approximately 20 minutes or the express bus service Route 500 will take approximately 25 minutes, dropping you off within a five minute walk of Exhibition Centre Liverpool.

Most Liverpool city centre bound buses will call at either Queen Square bus station (a 15-minute walk) or Liverpool ONE Bus Station, which is only a five minute walk to Exhibition Centre Liverpool.

The CityLink Route C4 bus links Queen Square bus station, James Street rail station and Liverpool ONE Bus Station to the venue. CityLink Route C4 operates every 20 minutes on Mondays to Saturdays and every 30 minutes on Sundays, between 7am – 8pm, with a maximum fare of £1 per journey. Merseytravel prepaid tickets, National Concessionary bus passes and Arriva day tickets are all valid on this service.

For all car journeys it's best to follow the white on brown tourist route signs for the Waterfront. These signs are visible on the major routes into the city. Exhibition Centre Liverpool is situated on the Kings Dock directly adjacent to the south side of the Albert Dock. Upon arrival, the Kings Dock entrance is clearly sign posted.

From the North...

Leave the M6 at junction 26 and follow signs for M58 Liverpool. Follow to end of M58 and then take signs for A59 Liverpool. Continue to follow Liverpool City Centre until picking up signs for the Waterfront. 

From the South...

Leave the M6 at junction 21A and take the M62 to Liverpool. At the end of the M62 follow signs for Liverpool City Centre along Edge Lane, picking up and following signs for Waterfront.
